About Life Kidz
At Abundant Life Church (ALC), we love children and believe that even the youngest among us can connect with and grow in their relationship with God. Children aren't just the future of the church; they are a vibrant part of our church family today.
We offer Children's Church during our 10:00 a.m. worship service for kids ages 2-10, as well as fun events that build faith and community throughout the year. We also have a nursery where parents and caregivers can bring their children under the age of 2 to care for them while watching a livestream of the service.
Abundant Life Church's Children's Ministry utilizes biblical teachings and caring relationships to help children connect with God, get to know Him, and grow in their faith. We desire to see children walking in His ways and developing a faith that connects to life and can be applied to the world around them.
Raising children is hard. It takes a village. And we desire to support parents and caregivers in raising healthy children with a growing faith.
Family Sundays (5th Sundays)
Every 5th Sunday, families worship together all service. Our worship service centers kids with a special teaching, optional dance ribbons at the altar, and activity bags to explore during service. Afterward, join us for a family activity in the fellowship hall.

Summer splash‑time for families to relax, connect, and make memories.
Back to School Block Party
Kick off the school year with games, music, and encouragement.
Fall Park Playdate
Low‑key meetup at a local park to build friendships.
Christmas Party
Crafts, carols, and a joyful celebration of Jesus' birth.
Children's Museum Family Outing
Explore and learn together at a local museum.

FAQ
I'm new. What can I expect?
Check in at the children's ministry station in the foyer to the right of the main door. A team member will register your child and print your pickup code. Join the sanctuary for prayer and musical worship; after worship, children are released and escorted with our security team to the Kids Zone. Pick up your child at the check‑in station after service.
When does kids' church begin?
Kids' Church starts around 10:30 a.m. during our 10:00 a.m. worship service. We plan to expand our offerings in 2026 to provide children's ministry throughout the full service.
How do you keep kids safe?
- Unique check‑in codes; matching code required for pickup.
- ALC security escorts children to/from the Kids Zone and monitors hallways.
- All volunteers working directly with children pass annual CORI/SORI checks.
What ages are served? Is there a nursery?
Children's Church serves ages 2-10. A parent‑supervised nursery for children under 2 is available with a livestream of the service.
Do you support neurodivergent children?
Yes-joyfully. We offer noise‑reducing headphones, fidget tools, and calm‑down corners. We partner with parents for individualized support.
